Aerospace Bristol is a museum located in Filton, north of Bristol, where the final Concorde was built. The last Concorde to fly, ‘Concorde Alpha Foxtrot,’ is on display within the main gallery hangar.
BECK London served as the principal contractor for the fit-out of two hangars, divided into nine zones, each guiding visitors through a specific period in aerospace production.
The renovation included display walls, large object plinths, display cases, setworks, bespoke metalwork, glass barriers, and specialist controlled gallery lighting installations.
The project was successfully completed, with all large objects on-site despite the unique challenges posed by a phased installation.
