Home Grown Club is an exclusive private members’ club designed for high-growth entrepreneurs, created by the team behind London’s Home House. Spanning four Grade II-listed, six-story Georgian townhouses, the project required meticulous care to preserve the buildings’ heritage. Each timber floorboard was carefully lifted, numbered, refurbished, and reinstated in its original position.

The façades and lightwells were restored, new doors and windows were installed and a mansard roof extension with dormer windows was created, all in full compliance with heritage planning. The brief also called for the reinstatement of lost Regency-era architectural features. We restored the Portman stone balcony on number 44 Great Cumberland Place and introduced three matching balconies on the other townhouses, complete with Portman Stone corbels and decorative metalwork balustrading.

Internally, the full refurbishment created 35 boutique bedrooms, business lounges, a bar, pitching suites, a restaurant, and catering facilities. Bespoke joinery brought to life key design elements, including the striking U-shaped Unicorn Bar, antique mirrored wood panelling, a studded walnut reception desk, and custom-made banquette seating.
