In partnership with Cadogan Estates, BECK London carried out the reconstruction and fit-out of this prestigious five-star hotel on London’s famous Sloane Street. The Cadogan underwent major demolition, façade retention, and a full structural rebuild.
The Cadogan, A Belmond Hotel

A highly complex period restoration and refurbishment project, this transformation created 54 award-winning, luxurious hotel suites. The Cadogan, a traditional London hotel in the heart of Chelsea, seamlessly blends British charm with modern style and interior design. Steeped in history, the building has hosted notable figures such as Lillie Langtry and Oscar Wilde.

The entrance hall showcases the original floral mosaic floor design and 130-year-old wooden wall panelling, meticulously restored by BECK London. The hotel’s restaurant and lounge feature carefully restored and replicated fibrous mouldings, originally designed by Lillie Langtry herself. A beautifully hand-crafted, bespoke tea bar sits at the centre of the lounge, transforming into a cocktail bar by night. Finally, the guest suites boast bay windows with banquette seating and bathtubs overlooking the serene Cadogan Gardens.
