BECK London was appointed as main contractor for the complete refurbishment works of guestrooms, presidential suites, entrance foyer with tea room,
Al-Mare restaurant and Peak Health Club and Spa.

The iconic hotel closed its doors for the first time in 60 years for a complete overhaul. BECK London have had an ongoing relationship with this Client for an excess of 20 years.

The arrival experience was reimagined with a refurbished porte-cochere, with a new stone façade, and Portland stone soffit, to match the existing tower’s façade. This enhanced the arrival experience with a bright and welcoming atmosphere, creating a lasting first impression.

The renovated entrance also features a striking double-height lobby with a remarkable a custom fluted chandelier by Lasvit, inspired by an abstract interpretation of chrysanthemum. The chandelier required meticulous installation, and involved drilling through the fibrous dome ceiling to hang 504 individually hand-blown crystal glass pieces with string in varying lengths.

The 186 guestrooms at The Carlton Tower have undergone top-tier renovations, aiming to provide a tranquil atmosphere with a focus on spaciousness and ample light. Suites constitute 88 of the keys, reflecting a historical preference for increased space and longer stays among hotel patrons.

The hotel’s impressive public spaces are completed by The Peak Fitness Club & Spa, set across three floors. The space has been entirely redesigned, introducing new treatment rooms for the Talise Spa on the second floor and a refreshed swimming pool area. This marked the first complete shutdown for refurbishment in over two decades, addressing numerous areas that had not seen updates for a considerable period.
