The Macallan Distillery & Visitor Experience

The Macallan Distillery, located on the picturesque Easter Elchies Estate in Speyside, Scotland, has been home to one of the world’s leading luxury single malt whiskies since 1824. The 2,750 sqm visitor centre explores the past, present, and future through its ‘six pillars,’ which highlight Place, Process, People, and Passion.

BECK London was responsible for prototyping, sampling, management, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of the new centre. In addition to the visitor experience, it also boasts a photography gallery, café, bar area, and retail spaces.

Finally, Cave Privée, is an immersive theatrical experience. It utilises intelifilm technology, to allow views of the Cairngorm mountains to remain unobscured.
