This project began with two vast, empty floors. The inner spaces of the castle, split across two levels, now feature new displays throughout multiple galleries showcasing archaeological collections housed in bespoke, conserved display cases. These displays are complemented by interactive exhibits and audiovisual content, offering an immersive experience in British history.
Colchester Castle

Situated in the heart of the oldest recorded town, Colchester Castle is the largest Norman Keep in Europe. It was constructed on the foundations of the Temple of Claudius, built when Colchester was the first Roman capital of Britain
